This is the birthplace of Yamanashi's ancient culture, where many ancient tombs remain from the Pre-Columbian Period to the Heian Period have been discovered.

 

Yamanashi Prefecture Sone Hill Park has been developed to protect historical heritage sites such as the Choshi-zuka Tomb, one of the largest tombs in eastern Japan, as well as to preserve the scenery in this area. We manage and operate the park as the designated administrator.
